Velvet – The Love of my Life

I haven’t posted in a while but I felt the need to share my current obsession: my blue crushed velvet trousers.

I’ve been desperate for a pair of velvet trousers for an extremely long time. I went through the process of adding many, many pairs to my online basket and trying them on in shops, but I never convinced myself to spend any money on them.

I finally found a bright blue pair on Boohoo which I decided I’d order. With blue being my favourite colour, they were the perfect pair of trousers for me. When they arrived, I pretty much fell in love with them (I know, they’re only trousers…).

Although they are not the ideal trousers in terms of keeping clean, they are definitely worth it. They can be worn more casually, with a patterned t-shirt – as represented in the photos above – or dressed up with a black peplum top, for example.

For anyone looking for velvet trousers, I would recommend shopping on Boohoo for them. They are soft, comfortable and the crushed velvet doesn’t look tacky, which I find is an issue with a lot of reasonably priced velvet clothing.

These are my favourite item of clothing in my wardrobe at the moment and if I were you, I’d purchase some. I cannot tell you how much I love them!
